Ballet Summer Intensive Featuring Rachael Gnatowski

Rachael co-founded New England Ballet Theatre in January 2020 and serves as Artistic & Executive Director. Rachael is committed to making ballet accessible and welcoming to new audience members. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Rachael began her dance training under the direction of Joyce Morrison at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet. While performing as a member of the Urbana High School Dance Company under the direction of Stephanie Weigelt, she was named a Maryland All-State Dancer. She furthered her dance training attending summer intensives at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, North Carolina School for the Arts, the Kansas City Ballet School, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Rachael then went on to graduate from Mercyhurst University in 2013 with a BA in Dance. It was during her time at Mercyhurst where she was given the chance to perform with the Lake Erie Ballet and the Mercyhurst Ballet Theatre. Since graduation, she has danced professionally with Ballet Fleming, Fort Wayne Ballet, and Ballet Hartford. She has had the pleasure to work with artists such as Christopher Fleming, Silas Farley, and Cameron Basden. Rachael has also performed as a guest artist with the Albany Berkshire Ballet, Deos Contemporary Ballet, Three Rivers Dance, and Blacksburg Ballet. Intermediate/Advance Levels $650

Summer Intensive Featuring Miles Keeney

July 15-18, 10:00 am-3:00 pm

Miles teaches consistently in New York City at Peridance Capezio Center as well as various studios across the country. He’s developed a unique jazz funk style that pulls from his training in hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern. His classes leave his students feeling like they channeled their inner superstar and tapped into a higher level of performance quality. He is currently a resident faculty member at Artistic Dance Exchange Competition and Convention and remains an experienced competition judge. Price: $600

Ballet Conditioning/Contempoary Intensive Stacey Tytler Raab

July 22 – July 24, 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Stacey graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science in Dance. Stacey has performed choreography in New York with numerous well known dance companies. Stacey premiered her first independent dance concert, “Between the Numbers” at The Patterson Theatre in Baltimore, MD. Stacey was a Relationship Manager for Curtain Call Costumes and has choreographed for their costume catalog photo shoots. She is also certified instructor for Progressive Ballet Technique. ACRO Intensive Featuring Alexandra Fellman

July 29-31

LEVEL 1: 9:00 am-12:00 pm (ages 8-19)
LEVEL 2: 12:30-3:30 pm (ages 10-19)

Alex Fellman, since the age of two, has studied ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, and acrobatic dance. Throughout the years, she has enjoyed dancing in many community performances, dance competitions, and in university performances. Alex began choreographing at the age of 14, and teaching at the age of 16 in 2016. Since then, she has taught a large variety of styles and abilities throughout the DMV at some of the best preschools and dance studios. In 2020, Alex received her certification in Youth Protection Advocates in Dance Safety and Wellness, and in 2024, she became a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor, receiving a perfect score on her final examinations. In 2023, Alex choreographed for the Best Friends Foundations’ A Night with Dionne Warwick. She has been an SBA dance instructor for 8 years, and an SBA Dance Team coach/choreographer, receiving many awards for her creative and picturesque choreography.

Precision Jazz/Musical Theater/Ballet Intensive Featuring Allyson Kelly

August 4-6
LEVEL 1: 9:00 am-12:00 pm (ages 8-14)
LEVEL 2: 12:30-3:30 pm (ages 12-19)

Allyson Kelly started dancing at the age of 5, competing all over the US winning numerous titles and high scores. She received her ballet training on scholarship at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC and then the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles, CA. While working with Debbie Allen, Allyson starred in many of Ms. Allen’s productions at the Kennedy Center including Dancing in the Wings and Dreams. Allyson then moved to New York City and toured the world with Complexions Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson. She was a Radio City Rockette in NYC at Radio City Music Hall for 12 years. Allyson was also in the original spring and summer productions at Radio City choreographed by Mia Michaels and Warren Carlyle. Throughout her career, Allyson has performed on the Tony Awards, Today Show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas in Rockefeller Center, AGT, VMAs, and the Wendy Williams show to name a few. She has starred in Radio City, Smirnoff, NFL, capitol one commercials, and a National campaign for Neiman Marcus. Allyson has also danced with Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, and was a featured dancer in an episode of Royal Pains. In addition to dancing, she has modeled for many print campaigns. Allyson is a certified core power yoga instructor, adjudicates, teaches master classes, and choreographs all over the United States and Europe. Price $250.00 (1/2 Day)
